There is so much good to be said about this purchase. Let me clarify my usage for this device so that if your intended purpose is different than mine this review may not be that helpful. I occasionally use my bike four trips to a convenience store to pick up items from time to time, likewise I sometimes transport (commuting) books and a computer two alternative destinations for the development of plans to take over the world once I get in touch with that little white Mouse "The Brain".
So let's talk about appearance these look nice in my opinion. The high visibility fabric for night time writing is great so far I have not been involved in any accidents at night. The one downside is that if someone is driving the vehicle and does not have headlights then you are at their Mercy as illuminate on its own in the model that I have purchased.
With regarding security the issue with that and why I didn't give it a high rating is very straightforward there are no locks or special combinations that only an owner would know that would secure these bags or their zippers to your bike. They're held on with little metal hooks and bungee cords and little plastic buckles and send nylon straps clearly this isn't secure. But if you were looking for something secure you're looking at the wrong type of item. These are very practical and because of the lack of security devices you can get them on and off your bike relatively easy. I elect to keep mine on at all times as it is a bit of a process to take them on and off. Now you yourself could improve this by putting on quick release snaps or buckles if you did not feel safe leaving these on your bike.
What's cover some functional issues, these are very nice for hanging other items off the back say a tail light blinkers or even a shrunken head from the Amazon jungle should you have one handy. There is a nice handle that allows you to carry them as asset when you take them off your bike and you can also use that handle and some of the other attachment points to secure other items that you may want to strap on. Furthermore they melt in a way that the back of your ankle doesn't hit the bags when you're pedaling very nice. They also collapse when they're not loaded if air resistance is a factor in your daily riding alas it is not in my situation.
Water resistance is essentially none other than protection by the fabric itself which is minimal. That's to say they could take a light spray or a little sprinkle and you would be okay but that's about it. What's say about the amount of pee that would come from a Teacup Poodle that happened to take a wee on them as they were walking by. Anything larger than that like a beagle or even King Charles Cavalier Spaniel would just be too much and you would definitely need to clean the internal contents.
Value is at the top of the range. Does that mean these are the best in the world no it does not. What it means is if you have a limited budget and are not that demanding I would get this as I am very happy with mine. However if you intend on buying something like this to transfer your gold and or diamonds from one secure area to another these clearly would not be suitable. Feel free to contact me and I can help you carry stuff like that.
Well here's the part where I point out the one shortfall this item and other items in this category so this is not just item specific. The manufacturers in this category tend to base the volume on theoretical mathematically calculated values that are based on area and dimensions. For example on these bags it tells you that carrying capacity of 26 l. Now unfortunately that's really not true in the real world in fact I would challenge any one from the company put on video as to how they could get 26 1 L bottles of douche into these. Now if they are able to do that they would certainly be a douchebag. However I couldn't do it not even close perhaps that indicates I'm just not cut out to be a douchebag.
Now for the only con
