It’s a nice bag stores everything I need the only problem is when you attach a light it’s aiming at the ground I had to take it off and can’t use it because I feel a light is more important than packing my tools in there. I keep my tools in my bar bag for now until I get a different saddle bag.

Bag itself is good. Rear Velcro too long for 27.2mm seatposts

Review is the BV Bicycle Y-Series Strap-On Bike Saddle Bag - Large.

PROS:
The bag itself is quite decent in my opinion. Design and materials are far better than the ones used on similar products from different brands. Build quality isn’t bad either but with the exception of the rear Velcro (See CONS). Arranged strategically (by my expert packer wife), these are the items we managed to fit comfortably in the Large bag; two 700x32 tubes, two 16g C02 cartridges, a Zeppelin C02 inflator, two tire levers, a multi-tool, a mini bike hand pump, a thin battery pack the size of an iPhone 5S, an iPhone charger cable, my asthma inhaler, an Altoid Tin Can sized container stuffed with first-aid/cash/keys and a mini Swiss army knife. Yes, it’s a little overkill and at 2.75 lbs., the bag filled with these items is on the heavy side.

CONS:
Rear Velcro for the seatpost! It was stitched with the buckle side too far out that you can actually wrap that side alone around the seatpost (27.2mm in my case). This prevents it from having a snug fit. For the Velcro to latch properly it has to be loosened to a point where you can wedge a finger between the post and the strap. It’s analogous to a person with a 29-Inch waist trying wear a 36-inch belt. If they only stitched the same Velcro strap at the rear but with the buckle side as close as possible to the bag, this would’ve been an excellent product.

Good For Long Rides

This saddle bag is great! I went for the next to largest size and I can fit 3 tubes, 3 CO2 canisters plus the multi-tool and a pair of interlocking tire levers with room to spare (Note: I placed each "set" of tubes/canister in individual plastic baggies to allow for easier packing). I haven't had the opportunity to test its water resistance in a full downpour yet, but the light rains and splishes and splashes of everyday riding are no problem with this bag. It has a holder for a rear light signal which is good, because if you're short like me (5' 8") this saddle bad leaves very little room on the seat stem to mount a light and have it visible between the bag and the rear tire. Al-in-all, a solid bag and a good purchase. I intend to use this bag on weekend rides where I've 2+ flats in an outing more times than I would care to admit and my "minimalist" 1-tube saddle bag on everyday 25-30 mile rides. I would purchase again.

Like the size Large

I’d recommend the Large. This is a medium and large together. I can barely get the ~8 inch air pump to fit. Not much difference when looking at the two. If not trying to put in a pump like I was or perhaps a large iPhone, then medium would be ok. I gave some pics of of the two sizes side by side. One pic shows what I put in my large bag, and there is still room. Hope these side by side pics and tape measure help. I wish the bag had zipper pulls on both sides. My other bag (that was wearing out) had 2 zippers and a place to attach a key; otherwise this bag is very Close to what I had before, and liked. At least this bag does have a net in the lid. That net is very good to have; some bags don’t have this. I might buy a second large for my other bike, I returned the medium, Again, I personally liked the large better than the medium. Hope this helps.

Great design, Very Roomy

I was initially skeptical because I wasn't familiar with this brand, but I tested 4 different saddle bags and this one was the best overall on storage, build quality, and aesthetics for the price point. The angular lines of the bag look good on ny bike and the buckle strap gives a nice positive attachment which is easy to install & remove. The long shape of the bag body and the angled lid make it possible to store a small mini pump in addition to a spare tube, multi-tool, patch kit, Covid mask, and small (narrow) snack with a tiny bit of breathing room to spare.
